2018 LIVE AND LET LIVE
2018! Can you believe it? Adding the fact that Chinese New Year is just next week!! But, before wishes and greetings,
Please bear with me with this little incidence.
An hour ago, I bought a take-out Penang specialty, the prawn mee. I enjoy prawn noodles, every now and then, despite the fact that the attending garnishing has reduced drastically with a spiked price. This is no surprise, as the fact remains - everything spikes up in prices all over the world!
I fully grasped the fact, I have to embrace the fact. I also have to embrace the bottom truth that I cannot cook! Period! So where do I go for my favourite food? Buy them at the stalls and pay the prices, of course! However, sometimes, I would buy some garnishing myself and add them to my take-out to get the most out of what I paid.
But I digressed.
After I bought a packet (take-out) of prawn noodle, I returned home and before I could enjoy my noodle, this very close friend called,
"Hey, so how? How was your day?", he asked.
"Well, I take-out a packet of prawn noodle, and had a hair cut.", replied I, happily.
"I don't understand why people like to eat prawn noodle. It is expensive and has shrunk anorectically in garnishing. Why people still eat it?", he remarked and complained.
I was instantly underwhelmed and my happy-go-lucky spirit rapidly spirited away. But, he threw my take-out down the drains; he is a truly close friend and I truly never want to dispute, not just him, with anyone. My usual style is,
"Hehehe.", chuckled I.
No one is perfect, I was rather upset.
Sigh. Hey you guys have a great weekend, :)!
